Funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Church Lane, Horncastle, LN9 5HW on Friday 8th October 2021 at 12 noon. Followed by a family burial at Horncastle Cemetery. There will a celebration of Geoff's life/food and drinks following at The Bull Hotel, 17 Bull Ring, Horncastle, LN9 5HU. Dad wished for people to wear something colourful please.
There is a car park in the market place (LN9 5HB) payable at the machine which is almost opposite the church or alternatively there is another payable car park on St Lawrence Street, LN9 5DN (behind the post office) which is a short walk to the church. There is a customer car park at The Bull Hotel, although there is very limited parking. The Bull Hotel is in the town centre so just a short walk again from the church so we suggest you park up before the church service and walk to both.
Donations at the church will be in lieu of Horncastle Memory Matters, a friendship group Geoff and Patricia frequented for many years and which Geoff was the Chairman. If anyone would like to make a donation but cannot attend the funeral where there will be a collection at the church, please send a cheque payable to "Sellwood Gardens Memory Support Group" to Lincolnshire Co-operative Funeral Services, 2 Market Place, Horncastle, LN9 5HD.
